Last week, Techdinamics had the honor of hosting an intimate Women in Logistics Luncheon in Dallas, Texas. Held at the charming and vibrant restaurant Lyla, this two-hour gathering brought together a select group of women leaders and professionals working in logistics, a sector traditionally underrepresented by women yet filled with talented leaders making remarkable strides.
Clare Zeltner, Account Executive at Techdinamics and the event lead, shared her thoughts: "The best part for me was watching everyone exchange business cards at the end. It really captured the essence of this luncheon: connecting women in Dallas and opening doors for collaboration." She added, "It felt like the start of a community being built around women in logistics, with people sharing their journeys and supporting each other."
The luncheon sparked open and honest discussions about the career paths and unique hurdles that women face in the logistics field, while also brainstorming ways to strengthen this community through future events. Clare also noted the enthusiasm for staying connected: "Everyone agreed they wanted a list of attendees so they could continue networking and collaborating long after the event."
Techdinamics is proud to advance its commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within logistics by providing platforms that amplify the voices of women leaders. This luncheon is envisioned as the first of many, planting a seed for a growing community centered on support, collaboration, and shared success throughout Dallas and beyond.
"We're just getting started," Clare pointed out. "This will be the first of many gatherings as we work to bring women together in the logistics community."
