On October 28, 2026, Techdinamics brought Unplugged: After Hours, our invite-only networking series for logistics professionals, to New York City. Around 20 guests joined us at Top of the Strand Rooftop Bar in Midtown Manhattan for cocktails and conversation, with the Empire State Building in view.
Hosting the evening were Fallon Schneider, Director of Sales; Clare Zeltner, Partnerships Coordinator; and Rob Guerriere, Head of Enterprise Sales. The gathering brought together partners, clients, and other industry professionals, with representatives from Logiwa, Synergy, Capacity, J. P. Enterprises, Ankerpak, APC Postal Logistics, Zallpy, NYU Langone Health, and BroadRange Logistics.
An Evening Above Midtown
The enclosed rooftop gave guests a close-up view of the Empire State Building and plenty of opportunities for photos. Craft cocktails were a highlight, with martinis among the evening’s popular choices.
The food included charcuterie cones, beef satay skewers, harvest turkey sliders, and falafel fritters. Lemon bars and brownie bites rounded out the evening.
For Fallon Schneider, Director of Sales at Techdinamics, the smaller gathering made a difference in how people spent their time together:
“Everyone truly got to talk to everybody there, which I feel like was really nice. Like it was a good, intimate setting.”
Guests had time to settle into conversations and get to know the businesses represented around the room. Some had traveled from Canada and Georgia to attend, making the evening an opportunity to meet in person.
Peak Season and Industry Conversations
With the end of the year approaching, peak season came up in conversations. Partners also discussed opportunities to work together and how their businesses could support one another.
Another related topic that came up was the importance of package tracking and accurate shipping updates as peak season approaches. Knowing where a package is and keeping customers informed directly affects how they experience the brand they ordered from.
The mix of technology professionals, 3PL operators, and brands gave guests a chance to hear perspectives from different parts of the industry. Fallon noted that logistics businesses often rely on several providers working together, making these introductions useful beyond the evening itself.
Podcaster and author Nathan Chaney, from Supply Chaney, joined us for a signing of his book, Supply Chain Storytime. Guests could pick up a copy and have it signed during the evening.
Clare Zeltner, Partnerships Coordinator at Techdinamics, summed up the evening:
